I wanted to share a bit about me today. If you're new here or have been following me for a while, here's a little peek behind the doors of The Wandering Hedge Witch.
I’m a free spirit who revels in the mysteries of the earth, blending the ancient arts of witchcraft with a sprinkle of my modern magic. My journey has taken me through enchanted
forests across the seas and moonlit rituals in spiritual shops, where I’ve discovered the secrets of my soul. Whether I'm concocting potions or crafting spells, my heart is driven by a desire to empower you to connect with your own magic.
I was born in Miami where the sun kisses the ocean and the nights are alive with music. My parents, both heavyweights in the music industry, filled our home with an enchanting blend of glitter and glamour, hosting jam sessions and celebrity gatherings that felt straight out of a movie. I learned early that magic isn’t just found in spells, but in the melodies and harmonies swirling around me. From impromptu dance parties on our tiled floors, my childhood was an intoxicating whirlwind of sound, color, and sheer wonder.
When I was in grade school, my family moved to Georgia, and our lives quickly became a dance of alternating between our new home and South Florida for my parents’ business. I would switch from the slow living of rural Georgia to the carefree, sun-soaked days spent splashing in ocean waves in Miami. Each place seemed to weave its own unique magic into my daily life, blending the rich flavors of Southern hospitality with the lively rhythms of coastal living.

I first got into Witchcraft when I was seventeen, driven by a bubbling curiosity for what else the world had to offer beyond the confines of my small-town church scene. With each flicker of candle flames I found the freedom that I was longing for. Up in my room I could explore my own spirituality without judgment, painting my own magical path with vibrant strokes of individuality. It felt like discovering a hidden part of myself, a thrilling adventure that would shape the very fabric of my life.
It took several more years for me to finally come out of the broom closet, shaking off the dust of doubt that clung to me like an old spell that no longer served its purpose. Each flutter of unease whispered in my ear, but the vibrant calling of my craft resonated louder, pulling me toward the light of authenticity. It was a thrilling yet terrifying leap that led me to embrace my true self, but even then, I felt the familiar twinge of hesitation when the idea of teaching and offering readings danced on the edge of my mind.
A few more years slipped by, filled with courage brewing in the cauldron of my heart, until I was finally brave enough to share my knowledge with the world. Standing before my first circle of eager souls, I felt the spark of magic ignite, proving that sometimes the greatest enchantments lie not only in spells but in the connections forged through shared wisdom.
Years ago, I made the leap to Colorado, and now, oh, how the mountains seem to sing my praises! Living my best life with my husband, daughter, and a joyous pack of eight dogs, I’ve cultivated a home bursting with love and laughter. Each day is a delightful dance between nurturing my daughter and delving deep into the enchanting world of witchcraft and readings. The air is infused with magic, and every spell I cast resonates with the happiness of this beautiful life I’ve built, where fulfilling work and family intertwine seamlessly like the winding trails of the Rockies.
Our next adventure lies on the rugged coast of Oregon, and the thrill of the ocean breeze tugging at my soul is irresistible! With every crashing wave, I feel the pull of the Pacific Northwest and the magic it holds. I long to dip my toes in the cool, salty waters and explore the lush, mystical forests that hug the shoreline. The whispers of ancient trees and the call of the seagulls ignite a fire in my heart, urging us to make this move as soon as possible. I can't wait to embrace the adventures that await us—whether it’s discovering hidden coves or crafting spells by the flickering light of bonfires along the beach!
